CIMMERIAN BOSPOROS. The Sindoi. Circa 400 BC. Diobol (Silver, 13 mm, 1.41 g, 6 h), Gorgippia (?). Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. ΣINΔΩN Head of a horse to right; all within shallow incuse square. Frolova Type II. HGC 7, 2. MacDonald 80. SNG BM Black Sea 1008. SNG Stancomb 632. Rare. Somewhat porous and with traces of cleaning, otherwise, very fine.
